It wasn't a date.
Not really, it was more two people who were getting to be friends meeting up for dinner and conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. Hardly a date.
So why did her stomach feel so fluttery and her feet so cold?
Jeanne-Marie stands outside the chosen Indian restaurant in a light cotton summer dress and shawl, her purse clasped tightly in her hands as she waits anxiously for her date -I mean her friend- to arrive.
